Summary of the Dear Commander-in-Chief

Needless to say, things escalate fast. This big, powerful jerk *seizes* the chance, shows up right after she offsends him, and basically kidnaps her for good this time! He doesn't just treat her normally; he goes all out on the 'pampering' thing, which is totally weird given how she dealt with him before.

But here's where it gets interesting: even though he's basically treating her like a prized possession now, locked away or something? She still tries to run. Seriously? In this world, trying to escape from *him* feels almost impossible. It makes you wonder if maybe the pampering is just another layer of control.

Anyway, back to that first issue: some sleazy character pops up claiming he wants to mend fences with her lady love (Madam). Tacky move number one! And turns out, this rotten woman isn't happy because Madam won a big award at University of Medicine – clinical excellence or whatever. Jealousy apparently turned into violence; someone actually slapped Madam across the face.

So Master Jue's reaction is pure drama: "Slap that dirty woman’s face before sending her off to be tormented in a living hell." Classic villainous thinking, twisted and satisfying somehow.

Then... another twist? The synopsis says she *escaped* this time. Maybe trying to run from his pampered cage wasn't the best idea after all?

It's just wild how these characters bounce around like that!
