It started with the nickname jokes in preschool, then just escalated throughout elementary, middle, and high school. It was basically background noise for me until I thought about maybe going to university someday... yeah, I figured that would be *another* level of amusement, probably turning heads (in a teasing way).

Honestly? For a long time, it sucked being Joo In-gong. Hated the name, felt like everyone was judging based on it before I even opened my mouth.

Don't you think there might be a weird irony to being named Joo In-gong? It *literally* translates as 'world protagonist'!

Could it have been more than just bad luck or an unfortunate nickname? Maybe that initial frustration was actually some kind of... foreshadowing? Like, the name wasn’t just a label, but also a tiny hint at my future path in this story.
